All seemed well in and around the community of Linden, California, in the early 1980s. Methamphetamine made its way into the life of many impressionable young people as they navigated a social life outside of High School. It's not uncommon for two best friends to enjoy hunting, but unbeknownst to the community, Wesley Shermantine and Loren Herzog decided they would start hunting people. Their reign of terror spanned for 15 years and their victim count is estimated conservatively at 60 people. How did the two serial killers get away with dozens of murders for so long? Why did the two evolve from hunting animals to humans? Who fell victim to their torture?
