The fact that so many one star ratings had to be bought by a rival and problematic podcast says all you need to know about Obscura. This podcast is by far one of the best out there and everyone knows it. Give it a listen, you won’t regret it.

Great addition to true crime

A precious addition to bay true crime fan’s collection. Very enjoyable to listen to, and very thorough as well! Definitely add this to your next binge listen.

Amazing listen and love the show!

Hey I’m newer to this one but it’s a great podcast with an excellent host, his voice is awesome for story telling. The cases are well researched and he does a great job of presenting them in a timeline where we this listener feel like we’re sitting down and listening to a story.

One of the best!

“Welcome listener, I’m glad you’re here.” Thus starts every podcast, and I always respond, “Thank you, Justin. I’m glad to be here.” Obscura is one of the best podcasts out there. Professionally produced, well researched, and it’s broken down into segments that allow me to follow the timeline of a case without having to rewind. The host has a very poignant and insightful way of presenting the cases that gives me new understanding in the life of the victims and their families. That’s a great accomplishment for a true crime podcast!

This is such a well researched podcast. I absolutely love the format and Justin’s voice. As soon as a new episode comes out it goes to the top of my list. I can’t say enough good things about this podcast

Love this podcast

I adore this podcast! I love how Justin pulls us all up to a bonfire and weaves the story around the listener. It’s like an adult version of “Are you afraid of the dark” only with real events. He is sensitive to the victims and when he has an opinion he makes sure to separate that from the facts of the case. I cannot wait until the next episode drops. Obscura is one of my favorites!

I’m so glad I found this podcast! Justin does an amazing job- it’s seriously my new favorite podcast and I’m so excited to be listening. The quality is phenomenal and you can tell the host is a solid dude. Good. We need more podcast hosts that are good humans in this world. Excellent work! Brilliant, truly.

Great Podcast

This is a great podcast with a different kind of approach and attitude toward true crime. It’s gritty and honest, and sometimes difficult, but it’s also sensitive and thoughtful toward the victims. I appreciate learning more about then victims and families affected by crimes, and I think that Obscura’s perspective is much more empathetic toward victims and their families than other podcasts in this genre. Well done.

Some good stuff!!!

Justin makes sure to cover each case in depth and seriously listens to the feedback his listeners give. Great podcast! Lots of “unknown” cases, which is always nice when you listen to 10+ true crime ones and can run into the same case being covered 3 times a week. A+!
